Clonie Gowen

Clonie Gowen, also commonly referred to as Cycalona was born in Kiowa, Oklahoma. She may be considered a small town girl but that didn't stop her from rising to the top of the world poker ladder. Clonie was the original high school jock and was part of the state championship basketball team. She was also an avid high jumper and was ranked 7th in her state.

At the tender ripe age of just 15, Clonie also won the Miss Teen Oklahoma contest, showing that she does indeed have the entire package consisting of beauty, brains and athleticism. Clonie is a mother of 2 children and lives in Dallas, Texas. She is an avid deep sea diver loves to head out to nature on her mountain bike and most important of all she loves spending time with her friends and family. Clonie Gowen is pretty new to the world of tournament poker and she came onto the circuit by finishing int he top 10 positions on the WPT event in Costa Rica. she followed this up with another top 10 place in the 2003 WPT Ladies night event.

Clonie Gowen continues to work on her game and increase her tournament schedule constantly. Gowen used to be a member of Fulltilt poker. In November 2008 Clonie filed suit in Nevada state court against Fulltilt poker, claiming breach of contract among other issues and she is suiing for damages in excess of $40 million. For some strange reason, when we try visiting her official website it stats that the resource no longer exists. This could be that her website was iriginally hosted and maintained by the team at Fulltilt poker.
