The first Bodog Poker Major is the inaugural Bodog Poker Bowl... The Poker Bowl will consist of satellite tournaments coinciding with the NFL football season. The tournament will culminate with the Poker Bowl Main Event on February 6th 2005 and a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000!
From September 9th 2004 until February 6th, 2005, Bodog Poker will be hosting three levels of qualifying tournaments leading up to the final Poker Bowl Main Event.
Level I - Poker Bowl Sit-N-Go's (9 Seated)
- Start: Thursday September 9th, 2004
- Buy-in: $5 + $0.50
These events will run continuously beginning Sept. 9th. This Qualifier sees two players win their Level 2 Buy-In for every 9 players. Buy-ins can be made using tournament credits or real money. Payout is in tournament credits only.
Level II - Poker Bowl Satellite Tournament
- Start: Saturday September 11th, 2004.
- Buy-in: $20 + $2
This Qualifier sees one player win their Level 3 Buy-In for every 11 players. Buy-ins can be made using tournament credits or real money. Payout is in tournament credits only.
Level III - Poker Bowl Super Satellite
- Start: Monday September 13, 2004
- Buy-in: $200 + $20
This Qualifier sees one player win their Direct Buy In for every 11 players. Buy-ins can be made using tournament credits or real money. Payout is in tournament credits only.
Level IV - Poker Bowl Main Event
- Date: Sunday February 6, 2005
- Buy-in: $2000 + $200
This is the last tournament and is scheduled to take place on Super Bowl Sunday. Buy-ins can be made using tournament credits or real money. Payout is real money according to standard payout structure.
