Bodog.com Sports Casino Poker has released odds on two more upcoming poker tournaments...
As of this morning,
odds to win the 2005 Heads-up Poker Championship at Bay 101,
and the Bay 101 Shooting Stars Buy-In Event are available to
wager on at Bodog.com.
“The growth of
poker has been unbelievable to watch over the past couple of years, and all of
the players competing in these events deserve as much recognition as possible,”
said Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO of Bodog.com Sports Casino
Poker. “With all the excitement around poker many players have been
requesting that we post odds on all the events, and this is yet another two
events for everyone to wager on.”
For the
2005 National Heads-Up Poker Championship, the current player
of the year, Daniel Negreanu, is favored to win at 10/1 odds.
Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey, John
Juanda, Erick Lindgren and Howard
Lederer are all close behind Negreanu at 12/1 odds. Johnny
Chan, Scotty Nguyen, Doyle Brunson
and Men “The Master” Nguyen are all ranked at 18/1 odds, with
Phil Hellmuth, Josh Arieh and Greg
Raymer at 24/1. Los Angeles Lakers owner, and poker
aficionado, Dr. Jerry Buss is positioned at 55/1 odds, with
actor James Woods in the long shot position at 75/1
odds.
For the
2005 Bay 101 Shooting Stars $10,000 Buy-In event, Mike
“The Grinder” Mizrachi, who recently won the LA Poker Classic, is
positioned as the favorite at 5/1 odds, with Erick Lindgren at
6/1 odds. Daniel Negreanu is once again in the list, currently
sitting at 8/1 odds. Two of the old school poker professionals, Doyle
Brunson and Dan Harrington, are currently tied with Annie Duke
at 12/1 odds. Actor Tobey Maguire will be at the table
to test his game, with his odds currently showing at 75/1. Two Team
Bodog Members, Stuart Hosen and Paul
Chavez, are tied for the long shot position at 125/1 odds.

to see two more Team Bodog members hitting the live tables for these events, and
I am interested to see how they perform against the best in the world,” said

tournaments has an excellent shot at taking the top prize, but some players
bring their A-games every time they come out for tournament
